CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* A suspect was in custody for assault and theft at Broadway and North Water Street.

Assault

* An assault was reported at 426 North St.

Miscellaneous

* Unlawful use of a weapon and property damage were reported at 1126 N. Sprigg St.

* Detention or conveyance of a mentally disordered person was reported.

* Detention or conveyance of a mentally disordered person was reported at Broadway and North West End Boulevard.

* Hardee's, 2115 William St., reported damage to a toilet, toilet paper dispenser and paper towel dispenser.

* Trees 'n' Trends, 201 S. Broadview St., reported damage to landscaping blocks.
