The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Morgan A. Tate, 21, 1449 Whitener St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation, no insurance and improper registration.

* Anthony J. Mackins, 26, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

* A suspect is in custody pending charges of soliciting public property.

Thefts

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 2136 William St.

* Dirt Cheap, 420 South Kingshighway, reported alcohol and cigars stolen.

Burglaries

* A burglary and sexual assault were reported.

* A burglary and theft were reported at 117 N. Frederick St.

Miscellaneous

* Statutory rape was reported.
