The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • John D. Owen, 43, of Jackson was arrested at North Sprigg and Olive streets on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper registration.
  • Seth R. Seymour, 24, of Sedgewickville, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for assault.
  • Shannon P. Babers, 37, of Benton, Missouri, was arrested at 708 S. Benton St. on a probation and parole warrant for parole violation for burglary.
  • Katlyn M. Carr, 21, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested at 211 Saint Francis Drive on two Scott County warrants for failure to appear for probation violation.
  • Twyla T. Paige, 29, of Howardville, Missouri, was arrested at William Street and West End Boulevard on a Malden, Missouri, warrant for trespassing.
  • David L. Ivie, 36, 338 E. Cape Rock Drive, was arrested at 1721 Northwoods Drive on Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation and obstruction of a court order and a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for peace disturbance.
  • Christopher S. Smith, 38, of DeSoto, Illinois, was arrested at South Kingshighway and Good Hope Street on a Union County, Illinois, warrant for failure to appear.
  • Kathy L. Hannah, 37, 1927 N. Kingshighway, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing and driving while suspended.
  • Two juveniles were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of curfew violation at Jefferson Avenue and South Hanover Street.

Summonses

  • Sarah E. Haynes, 29, of Jonesboro, Illinois, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.
  • Hunter M. Metje, 23, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for expired license plate, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at South Kingshighway and William Street.
  • Trevor W. Wilson, 22, of Jackson was issued summonses for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance at South Kingshighway and William Street.

Burglary

  • Burglary, damage to a safe and theft of assorted jewelry and cash were reported at 1300 N. Spanish St.

Thefts

  • Household goods and a vapor cigarette were reported stolen at 312 W. Lorimier St.
  • Headphones were reported stolen at 2136 William St.

Miscellaneous

  • Request for service was reported.
  • A 24-year-old man was taken into protective custody at South Spanish and William streets.
