The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summonses

• David J. Ross, 19, of cape Girardeau was issued a summons for walking in the street at 731 Broadway.
• A 16-year-old juvenile was issued a summons for walking in the street at 731 Broadway.
• Carla A. Cummings, no age given, of Portageville, Missouri, was issued a summons for making an improper turn at U.S. 61 and Good Hope Street.

Assaults

• Assault was reported at 3049 William St.
• Domestic assault was reported.
• Assault was reported.

Burglary

• Burglary and theft of a motorized scooter were reported at 1522 Grandview Drive.

Thefts

• Stealing was reported in the 3300 block of Gordonville Road.
• A vehicle was reported stolen at the 500 block of South Kingshighway.
• Stealing was reported in the 1500 block of North Kingshighway.
• Stealing was reported in the 700 block of South Sprigg Street.

Property Damage

• Property damage was reported at 2700 block of Themis Street, 900 William Street, and 600 block of North Street.

• A request for service was reported.
• Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
• A violation of order of protection for an adult was reported.
• Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
• Trespassing was reported at 703 S. Ellis St.
• Harassment was reported.
• Two men, ages 21 and 22, were taken into protective custody.
• Possession of a defaced firearm was reported at the intersection of South Main and Merriwether streets.
• A liquor license required was reported at 731 Broadway.
• A mentally ill detention was reported at 546 S. Sprigg St.
• Assault on medical staff was reported in the 1700 block of Lacey Street.
• A 21-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
• Tampering with a motor vehicle was reported at 2824 Themis St.
