CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Eric T. Collins, 37, 118 S. Hanover St., was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon and failure to signal.
• Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and were placed in protective custody.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
• Emmanuel C. Fox, 19, of Jonesboro, Illinois, and Zionna T. Mehalopoulos, 17, of Cape Girardeau were arrested on suspicion of stealing assorted food items at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Summonses

• Jessica L.A. Cox, 31, and Mark D. Kilhafner, 31, both of Marble Hill, Missouri, were issued summonses for shoplifting at Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.
• Jessica L. Sagers, 29, of Chaffee, Missouri, was issued a summons for stealing various merchandise at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Andrew J. Sales, 59, of Sikeston, Missouri, was issued a summons for false declaration.
• William D. Wenderski, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to yield.
• Thelma M. Beckett, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to stop at stop sign.
• Zachary M. Schmpf, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for no insurance and driving while suspended.

Thefts

• Shoplifting was reported at Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.
• Shoplifting was reported at Food Giant, 1120 N. Kingshighway.
• A tablet, iPhone 6, PCG Metro, iPhone 5 and prescription medication were reported stolen at 1558 Independence St.
• A mirror, shoes, DVD player, miscellaneous movies and book were reported stolen and miscellaneous items were reported damaged at 234 N. Lorimier St.
• A firearm was reported stolen at 1906 Greenbrier Drive.
• An iPhone 6 Plus was reported stolen at 1701 Lacey St.
• Alcohol was reported stolen at Rhodes.
• A recorder, jewelry and belt buckle were reported stolen at 2805 Luce St.
• A vehicle was reported stolen at 1621 Independence St.
• A checkbook and refund card were reported stolen at 2512 Masters Drive.
• License plates were reported stolen.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 2415 Melrose Ave.
• The city of Cape Girardeau reported property damage at 835 S. West End Blvd.
• Property damage was reported.

Miscellaneous

• Three violations of orders of protection were reported.
• Interference with custody was reported.
• Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at 1105 Linden St.
• Two requests for service were reported.
• Rape was reported.
• Child abuse was reported.
• A 22-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
