The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
* A suspect is in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, driving without a valid driver's license and failure to display lighted lamps.
* Romeo P. Smith, 25, 5 Village Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
* Garry W. Proffer, 38, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for driving while intoxicated: drug intoxication.
* Brian E. Young, 48, 1842 Westridge Drive, was arrested on a Jefferson County, Mo., warrant for violation of financial responsibility ordinance.
* Salina L. Adams, 33, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
* Joseph J. Young, 36, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.
* Jaime E. McLeod, 33, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fines.
* Daniel S. Messer, 19, 751 Woodbine Place, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.
* A cellphone was reported stolen at 205 S. Plaza Way.
* Alcohol was reported stolen at Mercado, 425 S. Mount Auburn Road.
* A cellphone and charger were reported stolen at 216 N. Park Ave.
* A cellphone, iPhone, car stereo XM radio box, control box, cable, OtterBox and Blue-ray discs were reported stolen at 2540 Marvin St.
* A purse was reported stolen at 1802 Stoddard St.
* A purse was reported stolen at 221 Broadview St.
* A car tire was reported damaged at 2018 Sara Drive.
* Marcia G. Fair, no age given, of Mounds, Ill., was issued a summons for improper turn.
* A 39-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* A 45-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* A request for service was reported.
* A 31-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* Identity theft was reported.
* Rape was reported.
