The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• A suspect was in custody pending charges of tampering with evidence, possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, driving while suspended and operating a vehicle without headlights.

Summons

• Edavion Wade, no age or address given, was issued summonses for property damage, assault and possession of marijuana under 35 grams at 2861 Themis St.

Theft

• Theft of a controlled substance was reported at 212 Lorimier St.

Miscellaneous

• A false declaration was reported at 410 Kiwanis Drive.
• A 24-year-old woman was taken into protective custody at 123 N. Main St.
• A 25-year-old man was taken into protective custody at 1112 Linden St.
• Forgery was reported.
• A 55-year-old man was taken into protective custody at 605 N. Sprigg St.
