The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Amanda M. Price, 27, 719 William St., was arrested on a warrant.

* A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of making a false declaration and shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of property damage and stealing after a vehicle's passenger window was reported damaged and aluminum wheels were reported stolen at 1410 S. Sprigg St.

* Napoleon A. Cornelius Jr., 18, 1116 Ranney Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear and on suspicion of resisting arrest.

* Cleve L. Jaycox Jr., 30, of Belgrade, Missouri, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for indecent exposure and consumption on public street.

* Ashley R. Edwards, 29, of Oran, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing food and alcohol at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* James D. Brown, 35, 716 Missouri Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Samuel L. Preastly III, 41, 7 N. Benton St., was arrested on a Pemiscot County warrant for failure to appear and two Cape Girardeau County warrants for failure to appear and dangerous drugs.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Summonses

* Heather A. Hartzell, 31, 1115 Jefferson Ave., was issued a summons for animal leash law required.

* Angela M. Besand, no age given, of Frohna, Missouri, was issued a summons for following too close.

* Andrew C. Archie, 102 N. Park Ave., No. 1, no age given, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

Thefts

* A purse was reported stolen at 353 S. Kingshighway.

* An iPhone was reported stolen at North Main Street and Broadway.

* Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported alcohol stolen.

* Money was reported stolen at 807 N. Sprigg St.

Property damage

* Property damage and the theft of purses, clothing and cellphones were reported at Cape Splash, 1565 N. Kingshighway.

Assault

* Assault and property damage were reported.

Miscellaneous

* Fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance was reported at 1 S. Kingshighway.
