The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Chad Vincent McElrath, 63, 908 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for possession of marijuana.

* Robert Eugene Griffith, 35, 225 Lorimier St., Apt. 3, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for nonsupport.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing at 1656 N. Kingshighway.

* Bradley Shay Lucas, 39, 1400 S. West End Blvd., Lot 29, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and failure to register a motor vehicle.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing at 612 S. Sprigg St.

* Gary Dewayne Williams, 29, 1841 Marietta St., was arrested on a Union County, Illinois, warrant for failure to appear for possession of cannabis.

* Raine T. Morris, 22, 1517 Wayne St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Emanuel C. Harris Sr., 34, 113 Willow Ridge, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for felony stealing.

* Timmy R. Achter Sr., 27, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

Summonses

* Gary D. Williams, no age given, was issued a summons for driving while revoked, no proof of insurance and leaving the scene when a vehicle struck a concrete retaining wall owned at Scott Street and Perry Avenue.

* Micheles L. Louis-Jeune, no age given, 1805 William St., was issued a summons for failure to yield.

* Katina Louise Gill, 41, 431 S. Ellis St., was issued a summons for prohibited acts (loud music).

* Margie F. Schoppa, 50, 1432 N. Water St., was issued a summons for animal leash-law violation.

* Natasha Storey, 27, of Sikeston, Missouri, was issued a summons for animal leash-law violation.

Thefts

* A vehicle was reported stolen and later returned at 45 West End Blvd.

* Money was reported stolen at 338 E. Cape Rock Drive.

* A mower was reported stolen at 1757 Dunklin St.

* Mail was reported stolen at 137 S. Spanish St.

* Menards, 535 Siemers Drive, reported batteries stolen.

* A 2001 black Jeep Wrangler was reported stolen at 116 N. Henderson Ave.

* Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported at 1536 N. Spanish St.

Assaults

* Assault was reported.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

* Burglary and theft of clothing, an iPad, a DVD player, furniture and a microwave oven were reported at 1721 Cape Meadows Drive.

Property damage

* A truck was reported damaged at 777 N. Main St.

* A door was reported damaged at 1116 S. Ranney Ave.

Miscellaneous

* Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.

* A 28-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
