Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* Miguel D. Phillips, 41, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for nonsupport.
* Bradley L. McWhorter, 38, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Best Buy, 3026 William St.
* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of making a false declaration and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
* Brittany D. Newson, 23, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.
* Robert D. Byrd, 18, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
* Patricia Hunt, no age or address given, was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court.
* Christopher P. Moore, 25, 2444 Lisa Drive, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
Assaults
* An assault was reported.

Burglary
* Cape Public Schools, 1360 Randol Ave., reported computer hardware stolen.
* Computer hardware, jewelry and firearms were reported missing at 1263 Sailer Circle.
Thefts
* Dewalt tools were reported stolen at 123 S. Park Ave.
* A bike was reported stolen at 623 S. Ellis St.
* About 75 DVDs were reported stolen at 31 N. Lorimier St.
* Electronics were reported stolen at 46 N. Main St.
* The Artist Studio, 38 N. Main St., reported a handmade necklace stolen.
* A cell phone was reported stolen at 315 S. Lorimier St.
* Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported vodka stolen.
Property damage
* Copper tubing was reported damaged at 825 North St.
* A door and door frame were reported damaged at 1506 Big Bend Road.
* Three plants were reported damaged at 312 Bellevue St.
* Sunglasses were reported stolen from a vehicle at 211 St. Francis Drive.
Miscellaneous
* Child endangerment was reported.
* A 39-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* A runaway juvenile was reported.
* A 38-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* A suspicious fire was reported at 921 William St.
