The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Nathaniel J. Simmerly, 18, of Scott City was arrested on a Camden County, Missouri, warrant for failure to obey judge's orders regarding felony distribution near schools.
  • Kent A. Grebling, 61, of Spring, Texas, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for speeding.
  • Craig A. Demonia, 33, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a probation and parole warrant for a parole violation for selling amphetamine.
  • Zebulun A.E. Bates, 21, 21 N. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for no insurance.
  • Leon C. Wilder, 33, homeless of Cape Girardeau, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for assault.
  • Morgan A. Tate, 26, 1021 Themis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • Jeffery S. Gantt, 31, 1217 Dunklin St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to return to confinement.
  • Shawna M. Odom, 42, 912 Perry Ave., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for a suspended operator's license and false declaration.
  • Alexander C. Mann, 23, of Freidheim was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for no insurance and improper registration.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing, resisting arrest, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and careless and imprudent driving.
  • Berta L. Usrey, 45, 841 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.

  • Medication was reported stolen at 1100 S. West End Blvd.
  • A purse and its contents were reported stolen and a window was reported damaged at 2302 N. County Park Drive.

Property damage

  • A security door was reported damaged at Concord Publishing, 500 William St.
