Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of trespassing.
• Michael S. Cruz, 35, homeless, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing.

Summonses

• James R. Scheller, 19, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for being a minor in possession.
• Sarah E. Anderson, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for following too closely.
• Ibraheem A. Azis, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle.

Thefts

• Shoplifting was reported at Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St.
• Shoplifting was reported at Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, 2021 Independence St.
• An iPhone was reported stolen on South Silver Springs Road.
• Stealing and trespassing was reported at 1220 S. West End Blvd.
• A wallet was reported stolen at 1213 N. Kingshighway.
• A handgun was reported stolen at 2842 Whitener St.
• A purse was reported stolen at 511 Bellevue St.
• A Missouri license plate was reported stolen at 1733 Potomac Place.

Assaults

• Domestic assault was reported.
• Domestic assault and armed criminal action were reported.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 1233 N. Spanish St.
• Property damage was reported at 1550 Whitener St.
• Property damage was reported at 700 Cadmium Lane.

Burglary

• Burglary was reported at 1915 Golden Eagle Court.

Miscellaneous

• Request for service was reported at North Water and Themis streets.
• A 50-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
• An animal bite was reported.
