The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Walter S. Claar, 37, 1217 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for a probation violation.

* Codey Myles Newton, 17, 1915 Grandview Drive, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* John M. Hite, 17, 312 Franklin Ave., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Robert Thomas Alvarado Jr., 18, of Bloomfield, Mo., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for contempt of court for failure to pay fines, no operator's license and no proof of insurance.

* Detavian Latrey Richardson, 17, 1115 Good Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of loitering.

Summonses

* Ricky S. Cornelius, 50, of Marietta, Ga., received a summons for excessive weed growth.

* Debra L. Scherer, 52, 552 Woodbine Place, received a summons for a sign violation.

* Sandy Dean Helwege, 44, 509 Deer Creek Road, received a summons for an illegal sign.

* Travis Tramell, 31, 1827 W. Cape Rock Drive, received a summons for indecent exposure.

* Derek Drew Renshaw, 21, 1700 County Road 651, received a summons for littering.

* Taylor Charles Herbst, 21, 9 N. Benton St., received a summons for indecent exposure.

* A purse and wallet were reported stolen at 3146 Park Place Drive.

* A purse was reported stolen at 317 S. Middle St.

* Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

* BiState, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

* Prescription medication was reported stolen at 1710 N. Sprigg St.

* Subway, 701 Broadway, reported money stolen.

* BiState Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.

* Identity theft was reported.

* A check was reported stolen at 2722 Chrysler Ave.

Miscellaneous

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.

* Harassment was reported.

* A 31-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
