The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A 14-year-old girl was taken into custody on suspicion of disturbing the peace.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance at 860 Rush Limbaugh Drive.
  • Bobby J. Walls, 52, 3016 Themis St., was arrested on a Dunklin County, Missouri, warrant for possession of marijuana.
  • Berta L. Usrey, 44, 841 S. Sprigg St,. was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • Jevon D. Burleson, 18, 8 Village Drive, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for shoplifting.
  • Lakeisha D. Johnson, 25, 2825 Whitener St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for a stop-sign violation and no seat belt and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for contempt of court.
  • Jesse J. Ochoa, 23, 718 North St., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on a show-cause order.

  • Brett W. Davis, 23, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St..
  • John R. Thomas, 48, of Lilbourn, Missouri, was issued summonses for resisting or interfering with arrest and shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Assault

  • Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • Cosmetics were reported stolen at Sam's, 232 Shirley Drive.
  • A duffel bag and its contents were reported stolen from 234 N. Lorimier St.
  • A wireless mouse was reported stolen.
