The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* A 10-year-old juvenile was taken into custody on suspicion of assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
* Two 14-year-old juveniles were taken into custody on suspicion of stealing clothing at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.

* Michael R. Webb Jr., 20, of Benton, Mo., was issued a summons for minor in possession of alcohol.
Thefts
* Theft and fraudulent use of a credit/debit device were reported at 1224 Jefferson Ave.
* Theft of a laser-level kit was reported at Menard's, 535 Siemers Drive.
* Theft of an iPod Touch, cellphone, charger and keys was reported at 418 S. Spring St.
Miscellaneous
* Interference with custody was reported.
