* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Dakoda James Stearns, 28, 445 S. Spring St., Apt. A, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

Summonses

* Joshua W. Succaw, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for striking a stopped vehicle.

* Ashlie D. Moore, no age given, of Murphysboro, Illinois, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

* Elsie M. Anderson, no age given, of Scott City was issued a summons for following to close.

* Emily J. Rees, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to yield.

* Walter T. Moore, no age given, of East Prairie, Missouri, was issued a summons for striking a stopped vehicle.

Burglary

* Burglary and the theft of a television, jewelry box, two tool sets, a drill and case, a toolbox a and tools were reported, and a door, cup and clock were reported damaged at 2144 Big Bend Road.

Thefts

* Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported at 114 West End Blvd.

* Rent-A-Center, 2136 William St., reported a television and Xbox stolen.

* A Sprint phone and Otterbox were reported stolen at 155 Siemers Drive.

Miscellaneous

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.

* Violation of an order of protection was reported.

* A 50-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
