Arrests

  • Stephanie J. Brown, 36, 121 East Rodney Drive, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for failure to yield right of way and no insurance; and on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for fraud/false impersonation.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

  • Rosario Zarate Alvarez, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident.
  • Bobra N. Brashers, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to maintain right half of roadway.
  • Angeles Aceves-Alaniz, 46, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.
  • Alberta M. Closson of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for following too closely, and Shanika L. Hudson of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for no proof of insurance.

Thefts

  • A gray 1997 Honda Accord was reported stolen at 2009 Sara Drive.
  • An ATV, tank and sprayer were stolen at 12 S. Park Ave.

Miscellaneous

  • Careless and imprudent driving, failure to stop at a stop sign, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle were reported.
  • Tampering with a motor vehicle and stealing were reported.
