The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of stealing.

* Torranceomor Gardner, 28, 228 S. Ellis St., Apt. B, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for no license.

* Cynthia K. Pender, 40, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.

* Brooke A. Whitener, 21, 1205 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Ume Kalsoom, 38, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway.

* Steven R. Hanks, 20, 1831 James Court, was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for false information to an officer.

* Joshua W. Clark, 30, of Kennett, Mo., was arrested on a Missouri probation and parole warrant for being a parole absconder.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

* A burglary, the theft of a computer, money and wooden box, and damage to a door were reported at 1313 Jefferson Ave.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported gasoline stolen.

* A dirt bike, gas and bicycle were reported stolen at 1900 N. Kingshighway.

* Medication was reported stolen at 1004 Maple St.

* A license plate was reported stolen at 1005 Jefferson Ave.

* A shotgun, gas stove, microwave, speaker entertainment system, iPad and assorted items were reported stolen at 304 N. Middle St.

* A Missouri license plate was reported stolen at 401 Washington Ave.

* A Garmin GPS unit was reported stolen at 1823 Northbridge Drive.

* CDs were reported stolen at 1400 S. West End Blvd.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported.

* Damage to tires was reported at 1419 Whitener St.

* Damage to vehicle door and mirror was reported.

Miscellaneous

* An ex parte violation was reported.

* The fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.

* A violation of order of protection was reported.

* Counterfeiting was reported at 380 N. Kingshighway.

* Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.

* A 22-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Forgery was reported.
