CAPE GIRARDEAU
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Christopher W. Magers, 23, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of stealing clothes at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.
- Joshua R. Venable, 38, of Jackson was arrested on a Scott County warrant for nonsupport.
- Bobbie J. Flagg, 40, 920 N. Frederick St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for excessive weed growth.
- Three suspects were in custody pending formal charges of stealing sunglasses and clothing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
- Suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing.
- Amy L. Aldridge, 19, 1000 Towers Circle, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense.
- Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest, unlawful possession of a concealable firearm, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and trafficking.
- Jesse R. Glover, 32, no age given, was arrested on Scott County and Cape Girardeau warrants for bad checks.
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges for property damage at 821 Broadway.
Summons
- Johnny S. Joyce Jr., no age given, of Scott City was issued a summons for following too closely.
Assault
- Domestic assault was reported.
Thefts
- Clothing, medication, a phone and charger, and wallet were reported stolen at 19 N. Water St.
- Camera equipment and bag were reported stolen at Main and Independence streets.
- Stealing and forgery were reported.
- Clothing and cellphone cases were reported stolen at 109 S. Henderson Ave.
- A TV was reported stolen at 45 S. West End Blvd.
- Liquor was reported stolen at Sam's Club, 232 Shirley Drive.
- A tablet computer was reported stolen at 401 S. Benton St.
- A license plate was reported stolen at 439 N. Sprigg St.
- Clothes were reported stolen from J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
Property damage
- A window pane was reported damaged at 2034 Broadway.
- Vehicle tires were reported damaged at 2149 William St.
- A door was accidentally damaged at Life Care Center, 2852 Independence St.
Miscellaneous
- A 28-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
- Assist other agencies reported.
- Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.
- A 42-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
- Violation of education requirement for a child was reported.
- Trespassing was reported at 803 Themis St.
- A 23-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

- Donald E. Jacobs Jr., 68, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of violation of an order of protection.
- April F. Motsinger, 43, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
- Larry D. Warner Jr., 43, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for robbery.
- Austin D. Martin, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of property damage.
- Deena M. Williams, 46, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for nonmoving traffic violation and failure to register a motor vehicle.
- Davian D. Baker, 20, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for stealing.
- Brandon L. Fulk, 17, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- Gerald M. Jones, 27, of Millersville was arrested on suspicion of five counts of possession of controlled substance.
- Christopher D. Overy, 27, of Oak Ridge was arrested on a Webster County warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
- Bridget R. Essner, 31, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for driving while revoked.
