The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • An 11-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • A 12-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • Tara N. DePauw, 34, 608 Ridge Drive, was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for no lights, failure to appear for no insurance and failure to appear for no operator's license twice.
  • Allegra L. Murray, 28, 804 S. Pacific St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for no city dog license and animal neglect.
  • Two 16-year-old boys were cited into juvenile court for possession of marijuana.

Summonses

  • Waiyan Phone Myint, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for no valid driver's license and failure to yield.
  • Andrew C. Bothmann, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to yield.
  • William D. Lee, 55, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to use mechanical signals.
  • Brian E. Weiss, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to maintain a single lane of traffic.
  • Alexa J. Lawson, no age given, of Tamms, Illinois, was issued a summons for failure to maintain a single lane.

Thefts

  • Clothing and luggage were reported stolen.
  • Clothing, a PlayStation 3, cellphone, TV and wallet were reported stolen at 10 S. West End Blvd.
  • Identity theft was reported.
  • Window of a fire extinguisher box was reported broken and a fire extinguisher was reported stolen at the U.S. post office, 320 N. Frederick St.

Burglaries

  • An iPhone 6 and credit cards were reported stolen at 104 Vantage Drive.
  • Keys and sunglasses were reported stolen at 1416 Themis St.

Assaults

  • Assault was reported.
  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

  • A 32-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
