CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of DWI and driving while revoked.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault, felonious restraint and armed criminal action.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and failure to transfer plates of a vehicle within 30 days.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
• Robert L. Whelpley, 64, 1900 N. Kingshighway, was arrested at Kingshighway and Broadway on suspicion of DWI.

Summonses

• Ravindu Bandaranayaka, 21, 123 N. Henderson Ave., was issued a summons for nuisance party.

Assault

• Domestic assault, robbery, kidnapping, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a concealable firearm were reported.

Thefts

• Bobblehead sports figures and video games were reported stolen at 329 Albert St.
• Money was reported stolen and a vending machine was reported damaged at 3061 William St.
• Shoes were reported stolen from Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Miscellaneous

• Tampering with a motor vehicle was reported at 1260 Linden St.
• A wallet with money and debit cards was reported lost at 113 Broadway.
