The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
* Damien D. Westbrook, 31, of Lisle, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Save-A-Lot, 121, S. Sprigg St.
* Byron D. Patterson, 23, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for tampering with a victim or witness.
* Suspects were in custody pending of formal charges of endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
* Joseph M. Austin Jr., 35, of Sturdivant, Mo., was arrested on a Stoddard County warrant for failure to appear.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and driving while revoked.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia at 21 N. Hanover St.
* Kyle D. Hill, 22, 212 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court for possession of marijuana.
* Kennadi A. Jackson, 18, Carbondale, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of 35 grams or more of marijuana.
* A suspect and a juvenile suspect were taken into custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of a weapon.
* A juvenile warrant arrest was reported.
* Christopher R. Scharenborg, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for following too close.
* Dessirae Elizondo, no age given, 401 E. Cape Rock Drive, was issued a summons for striking a lawfully parked vehicle.
* Christy L. Gilmore, no age given, of Canalou, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to yield.
* Susan Owens, no age given, of Cape Girardeau, was issued a summons for failure to yield.
* Domestic assault and violation of an order of protection were reported.
* Theft and fraudulent use of a credit or debit device were reported.
* Theft of a laptop was reported at 3049 William St.
* Theft of a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was reported at 1101 William St.
* Damage to a front door was reported at 3019 Themis St.
* A 26-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* A 28-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* A 29-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* Protective custody was reported.
