The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of failure to stop for a stop sign and unlawful use of drug parpahernalia at Bertling Street and Old Sprigg Street Road.
  • Renee Lynn Brown, 45, 45 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for stealing and one for trespassing.
  • Destiny D. Moore, 22, 818 Jefferson Ave., was arrested in the 800 block of Jefferson Avenue on suspicion of third-degree assault and resisting arrest.
  • Sandra M. Robison, 43, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
  • Charles Edward Hines, 25, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.

Summonses

  • Jessica Nicole Turner, 27, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for property damage at 3128 Themis St.
  • Troy M. Emmons, 19, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was issued a summons for vehicles and animals in the park.

  • Theft was reported at Victoria's Secret, 3049 William St.
  • Theft was reported at 1515 Themis St.

Property damage

  • Damage to a vehicle was reported at 412 Fitzgerald St.
  • A 2016 Toyota passenger car was reported vandalized in the parking lot at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • A 2013 Ford passenger car was reported vandalized at 1454 Pemiscot St.
  • A 2016 Ford SUV was reported vandalized at 812 N. Missouri St. and Dunklin Street.

Miscellaneous

  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at 24 Village Drive.
  • A missing juvenile was reported.
  • A 29-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • Request for service was reported.
