The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Jeffrey M. Essner, 36, 2842 Independence St., was arrested at Independence Street and Silver Springs Road on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • A suspect was in custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated at William Street and Plaza Way.

Arrests

  • Shannon M. Allen, 36, 122 S. Bellevue St., was arrested at 23 S. Benton St. on suspicion of property damage.
  • Mishry S. Alamro, 20, no address given, was arrested at 1710 N. Sprigg St. on suspicion of assault.
  • Michael T. Anderson, 24, no address given, was arrested at 11 S. Kingshighway on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Lawnada Combs, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a warrant.

Assaults

  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Assault was reported at 316 S. Lorimier St.
