The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests

  • Gary W. Rainey, 33, 610 Red Bud Circle, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.
  • Caleb J. Simmons, 19, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Zachary M. Jones, 19, 301 Estate Drive, No. 141, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
  • A 12-year-old boy was taken into custody on suspicion of assault.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

Summonses

  • Jamisha T. Johnson, 23, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for trespassing at 908 S. Benton St.
  • Alshaela L. Roundtree, 23, of Kennett, Missouri, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Assaults

  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Third-degree assault was reported.

Robbery

  • First-degree robbery was reported at 164 Siemers Drive.

Burglary

  • Burglary, theft of money and damage to an interior wall were reported at 1217 William St.

Theft

  • Keys and a key ring were reported stolen from a building at 2530 William St.

  • Property damage was reported at 151 S. Spanish St.

Miscellaneous

  • Request for service was reported.
  • A 48-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • Child abuse was reported.
