The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
* Gary W. Proffer, 38, 1224 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation and assault and on suspicion of resisting arrest.
* Robert J. Haynes, 21, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for improper registration and failure to appear for possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
* Devin Earl Smith, 26, 801 Good Hope St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for trespassing.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing work gloves from Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.
* Dorothy D. Matlock, 35, of Oak Ridge was arrested on a Hillsboro/Jefferson County warrant for traffic violations and was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance, driving while suspended and speeding.
* Lucas B. Melo, 23, 1936 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for suspended operator's license.
* Richard B. Voszler, no age given, 3115 Kage Road, was issued a summons for failure to stop at a steady red light.
* Troy D. Garner, no age given, of Advance, Mo., was issued a summons for improper turn.
* Kailey B. Goodman, no age given, of Morehouse, Mo., was issued a summons for striking a lawfully parked vehicle.
* A purse was reported stolen at North Frederick Street and Jefferson Avenue.
* An iPod and revolver were reported stolen at 612 N. Sprigg St.
* A purse and medication were reported stolen at 533 Cape Meadows Circle.
* Chick-fil-A, 3333 Gordonville Road, reported tampering with a metal door and sign.
* Request for service was reported.
