* Mary B. Griggs, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of speeding and driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of possession of meth.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of shoplifting at Dollar General, 724 Broadway St.

* A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing.

* Otis D. Rutherford, age not given, 700 S. Benton St., was arrested on a warrant for probation and parole violation.

* A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of being beyond parental control.

* Christina R. Smith, 20, 921 Hackberry St., Apt. 202, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at JC Penney, 3049 William St.

* Kristy L. Shoemaker, 32, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on Cape Girardeau County traffic warrants.

* Paula M. Reagan, 41, of Benton, Mo., was arrested on a Poplar Bluff, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.

* Trevon Starnes, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Kristy L. Shoemaker, 32, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Walmart, 3439 William St.

* Randall B. VanWagner, 48, of St. Cloud, Minn., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for traffic offenses.
