CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Denicus D. Johnson, 23, of Cairo, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Leah Noelle Moore, 26, 1020 Kingsway Drive, was arrested on suspicion of assault at 1020 Kingsway Drive.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and assault on a law-enforcement officer.
• Anthony Jerome Mackins, 31, 2813 Whitener St., Apt. B3, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked at William Street and South Farrar Drive.
• Betty Ann Wilson, 37, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Kayla Marie Johnson, 19, of Morley, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Summons

• Kenya R. Kinder, 36, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for animal city license and animal neglect at 528 Koch Ave.

Assaults

• Third-degree domestic assault was reported.
• Domestic assault was reported.
• Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

• Household items were reported stolen at 6 Rivercrest Drive.
• A cellphone was reported stolen at 2021 Independence St.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 1209 S. Sprigg St.
• A brick wall was reported damaged at 1 N. Main St.

Miscellaneous

• A 27-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
• Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.
• Assisting another agency was reported.
• Harassment was reported.
• Resisting arrest was reported.
