CAPE GIRARDEAU
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Jacob A. Canoy, 23, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper lane usage.
- Zachary T. Hager, no age given, homeless, was arrested on a parole violation warrant.
- Andrew P. Young, 41, 729 Themis St., was arrested on five Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for no insurance, speeding, driving while revoked, and improper registration.
- Jacob A.Canoy, 23, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was arrested on a Bollinger County warrant for failure to appear for dangerous drugs.
- A suspect was in custody pending filing of formal charges for resisting arrest, failure to register a motor vehicle and driving while revoked.
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing alcohol at 546 S. Sprigg St.
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing an electric helicopter at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance/possession of marijuana.
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing earphones at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of first-degree robbery.
Thefts
- A Glock 17 firearm was reported stolen and tampering of a motor vehicle was reported at 15 N. Main St.
- A cellphone was reported stolen at 1302 Big Bend Road.
- A tan 2005 Toyota Corolla was reported stolen at 501 N. Silver Springs Road.
- Gloves, Wrenchflex and knives were reported stolen at 535 Siemers Drive.
- A handgun was reported stolen at 112 S. Henderson Ave.
- Miscellaneous clothes were reported stolen at North Pacific Street and Normal Avenue.
- Identity theft was reported.
- Stealing and identity theft were reported.
- A license plate was reported stolen at 435 N. Frederick St.
Assault
- Domestic assault was reported.
Miscellaneous
- A 14-year-old girl was taken into custody.
- A 22-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
- Interference with custody was reported.

- Sandra L. Phillips, 30, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

- Arthur G. Headrick Jr., 32 of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance (cocaine).
- Carla J. Jackson, 43, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance (cocaine).
- William L. McCain Jr., 37, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance (cocaine).
- Christopher L. Goings, 29, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and stealing.
- Cody J. Allen, 22, of Dexter, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked, a Stoddard County warrant for failure to appear for non-moving traffic violation, a Wayne County warrant for contempt of court, a Springfield, Missouri, warrant for traffic offense of failure to devote attention to control of vehicle and a Desloge, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for prohibition solicitation.
- Sara D. Bucker, 35, of Millersville was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing,
- Hannah M. Hart, 35, of Oak Ridge was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.
- Rollen D. Newsom, 38, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a New Madrid County warrant for forgery.
