The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A minor was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of assault.

* Taz M. Brunson, 18, of Portageville, Mo., and Eugene L. Kenny, 22, of Caruthersville, Mo., were arrested for stealing clothes at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.

* Leahy D. Liley, 20, of Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation on an original charge of theft.

Summons

* Brittany A. Rysdam, 20, of Sikeston, Mo., was issued a summons for trespassing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Theft

* Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

* A Scott City woman reported credit cards stolen at Wal-Mart.

* A safe and a handgun were reported stolen at 503 S. Benton St.

Miscellaneous

* A 46-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* Fraud was reported.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Jance A. Gainwell, 27, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on a Poplar Bluff warrant for driving while suspended and failure to appear for a traffic violation.

* David C. Inman Sr., 52, of Jackson was arrested on a Bollinger County warrant for possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, receiving stolen property and unlawful possession of a firearm.

* Lancelot W. McGuire, 20, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for assault.

* Derek D. Renshaw, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for forgery.
