Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of shoplifting at Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.
  • Zion A. Whitfield, 21, 121 East Rodney Drive, was arrested on North Kingshighway on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.
  • Joseph D. Wilson, 25, of Pulaski, Illinois, was arrested at 555 N. Kingshighway on an Illinois State Police warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle.
  • Marqueal A. Jackson, 21, homeless, was arrested in the 500 block of South Hanover Street on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for weapon offense.
  • Jessica J. Howell, 21, 1033 N. Middle St., was arrested at 45 S. West End Blvd. on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation and a Butler County, Missouri, warrant for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

Summons

  • Robert L. Baber III, 17, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at 330 N. Spring Ave.

Thefts

  • Theft was reported at 721 West Rodney Drive.
  • Theft of electrical service was reported at 840 Jefferson Ave.
  • Theft of a wallet and its contents and trespassing were reported at 1865 Broadway.

Miscellaneous

  • Request for service was reported.
  • Formal charges of failure to return to confinement were pending.
