The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Austin Lake Wunderlich, 20, of Altenburg, Missouri, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for no operator's license and no proof of insurance.
  • Darian Blake Prater, 19, of Olive Branch, Illinois, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for nuisance property and failure to appear for possession of alcohol by a minor.
  • Tiana Janay Lewis, 20, 421 Sheridan Drive, was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for nuisance property, failure to appear for possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to appear for stealing.
  • Melvine Carlina Stuckey, 21, 1213 S. Ellis St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to appear for trial.
  • Steven K. Dusterhoft, 34, 1302 Bloomfield St., was arrested on a warrant.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing and possession of intoxicants.

Summonses

  • Vernon L. Warden, no age given, of Anna, Illinois, was issued a summons for failure to maintain lane.
  • Jessica L. Diggs, no age given, of Whitewater was issued a summons for following too closely and no insurance.
  • Amy L. Leger, 44, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for an animal leash law violation and animal city license violation.
  • Cliff C. Peda, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for following too closely.

Thefts

  • DVRs were reported stolen at 431 Olive St.
  • Boxes of screws, amp meter base, wire, fan trims, lights, extension cords and ladders were reported stolen at Baldwin Drive and LaSalle Avenue.
  • A 2009 Pontiac G6 with no license was reported stolen at 2861 Themis St.
  • A cellphone was reported stolen at 1028 N. Cape Rock Drive.
  • Identity theft was reported.
  • Stealing was reported at 3439 William St.
  • Shoplifting was reported at 3049 William St.
  • Stealing was reported at 402 S. Kingshighway.

Assault

  • Two girls, ages 13 and 14, were cited into juvenile court for assault.

Miscellaneous

  • Arson was reported.
