The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Lawrence Vernoil Wesley, 48, 616 S. Spring Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for trespassing.

* Keith Allen Ticer, 22, of Grand Tower, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.

* Scott Charles Minner, 26, 1021 Haddock St., was arrested on a Wentzville, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation.

* Darcell Cedric Moore, 23, 1080 S. Ellis St., was arrested on eight Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for no license and prohibited acts and failure to appear for driving with a revoked license, improper registration, a seat-belt violation and for a probation revocation.

* Haleigh Christian Givens, 18, 2209 Lakewood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of property damage.

* Konitha Bailey, 27, 2806 Independence St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

* Jordan T. Weiss, 21, 3218 Chateau Drive, received a summons for a fence/sign violation.

* Jo A. McCauley, 56, 1036 S. Sprigg St., received a summons for a fence/sign violation.

Thefts

* Kidds, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

* A cell phone was reported stolen at 2861 Themis St.

Property damage

* Hutson's Fine Furniture, 43 S. Main St., reported a broken window.

* Tires were reported damaged at 31 S. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

* A 23-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Forgery was reported.
