The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* James D. Brown, 34, homeless, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* Ian D. Godsey, 29, 1323 Rosewood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

* Jesse B. Brown, no age given, of Dexter, Mo., was issued a summons for following too close.

* Madlyn J. Anderson, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for following too close.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

Burglaries

* Burglary and theft of a laptop computer, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 were reported at 1517 Wayne St.

* Burglary and damage to a door were reported at Cape Meadows Circle, No. 1.

* Burglary and damage to a door were reported at 1502 Scott St.

Thefts

* A Missouri license plate was reported stolen at 319 Albert St.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 40 S. Sprigg St.

Property damage

* Windows were reported damaged at 416 N. Frederick St.
