Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing clothing at Macy's, 3049 William St.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Two suspects were in custody pending formal charges of stealing; unlawful possession of a concealable firearm; possession of marijuana; possession with intent to distribute heroin, cocaine, controlled substance and marijuana; and drug trafficking.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
  • Two suspects were in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest; unlawful possession, transportation, manufacture, repair or sale of an illegal weapon; and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of cocaine possession, marijuana possession and amphetamine possession at 64 E. Plaza Way.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault, resisting arrest and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Assaults

  • Assault, property damage and armed criminal action were reported.
  • Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • A wallet and its contents and iPhone car chargers were reported stolen at 2445 Horseshoe Ridge.
  • A computer monitor and speaker were reported stolen at 2022 Walden Pond Way.

  • Assist other agency was reported.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Derek K. Storck, 43, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of distribution/delivery/manufacture/production of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Patrick A. Keefer, 37, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana.
  • Alvin J. Martin, 33, of Cuba, Missouri, was arrested on a Jefferson City, Missouri, Probation and Parole warrant for parole violation, being a parole absconder and possession of a controlled substance-cocaine.
  • Angela M. Coomer, 45, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was arrested on a Bollinger County, Missouri, warrant for probation violation and fraudulent attempt to obtain a controlled substance.
  • Anthony J. Cruz, 22, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to obey a judge's orders, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Hunter M. Metje, 23, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of 35 grams or more of marijuana.
  • Vickie A. Bennett, 54, of New Madrid, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for stealing.
  • Jeffery L. Davidson, 52, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear for failure to register a motor vehicle.
