CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Ashleigh R. Caldwell, 18, 360 Dearmont Court, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Treshe' N. Wilson, 18, 321 Dearmont Court, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Alexus K. Marshall, 17, 321 Dearmont Court, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing alcohol at Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway.

* James T. Wilson, 29, 414 Koch Ave., was arrested on a Scott County, Mo., warrant for assault.

* Alaa A. Hawsawi, 23, 810 Illinois Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.

* Christopher S. Herberlie, 37, of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for driving while revoked and speeding and failure to appear for false declaration and resisting arrest.

Summonses

* Alaa A. Hawsawi, 23, 810 Illinois St., was issued a summons for failure to drive on the right side of the roadway.

* Andrew R. Terhune, no age given, of Benton, Mo., was issued a summons for an improper turn.

* Michelle K. Dudley, no age given, of Chaffee, Mo., was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident, no insurance and failure to drive within traffic lanes.

* Jakon E. Payne, no age given, 236 Cayuga Lane, was issued a summons for a stop-sign violation.

* Joseph M. Ludvigsen, 17, of Scott City was issued a summons for shoplifting.

* Kenneth J. Ward, no age given, 601 Locust St., was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle and no insurance.

* Christina M. Ward, 28, 319 N. Louisiana Ave., was issued a summons for failure to keep property free of litter and brush.

Assaults

* Assault was reported.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* A blue and gray 1998 Chevrolet Silverado was reported at 1021 Good Hope St.

* A credit card was reported stolen at 1561 Princeton St.

* Merchandise was reported stolen at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.

* A light blue 1991 Geo Tracker was reported stolen at 1021 Good Hope St.

Property damage

* A glass door was reported damaged at 1115 Broadway.

* Property damage and unlawful use of a weapon was reported at 40 Themis St.

Miscellaneous

* A 47-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* A 32-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported.

* Resisting/interfering with arrest was reported.

* An animal bite was reported.
