Arrests

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing alcohol at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault.

* Jason F. Rollins, 36, 415 S. Frederick St., was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of property damage.

* Chad V. McElrath, 35, 1021 Bloomfield St., was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful use of a weapon.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault and resisting and interfering with arrest.

Summonses

* Jeffrey M. Greer, no age given, 1804 Dunklin St., was issued a summons for failure to yield.

Burglary

Thefts

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 811 S. Ellis St.

* Jewelry was reported stolen at 45 S. West End Blvd.

Miscellaneous

* A 40-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Possession of marijuana was reported.

* A 21-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
