CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Laurent M. Wilson, 29, of Sikeston, Mo., was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a single land and no insurance.

Arrests

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of fraudulent use of a credit/debit device.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of stealing and receiving stolen property.

* Kiarra J. Walden, 23, 719 William St., was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court.

* Preston R. Hattenhauer, 19, homeless, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing and resisting arrest and on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.

* James W. Watts, 24, 2867 Whitener St., Apt. A1, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant on two counts of failure to appear.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

Burglaries

* Burglary and the theft of prescription medications were reported at 930 William St.

Thefts

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 1200 S. Ranney Ave.

* A purse was reported stolen at 320 N. Sunset Blvd.

* Prescription drugs were reported stolen at 4 N. Spanish St.

Miscellaneous

* Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported.

* Request for service was reported.

* A 46-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* Request for service was reported.
