The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Patrick J. Nissen, 52, 43 N. Henderson Ave., was arrested at 43 N. Henderson Ave. on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.
  • Myquille Jimmon Anderson, 23, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for no insurance, improper lane usage and leave the scene.
  • Jennifer Nichole Locke, 36, 234 N. Lorimier St., was arrested at North Fountain and Mill streets on Cape Girardeau warrants for no insurance and suspended license.
  • Robert D. Garrity, 41, 1469 N. Water St., was arrested at 157 Siemers Drive on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.
  • Maranda A. Evans, 30, 1744 Northwoods Court, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield right of way and no insurance.

Charges

  • Christopher Douglas Sams, 24, of Cape Girardeau was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended, no insurance and expired plates at Shawnee Parkway and Fountain Street.

Robbery

  • Robbery was reported in the 400 block of Marroseann Drive.

Burglary

  • Burglary and stealing were reported at 233 Edgewood Road.

Theft

  • Theft was reported at 2503 Ford Drive.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported at 608 S. Ellis St.
  • Christian School for the Young Years, 735 Clark Ave., reported property damage.

Miscellaneous

  • First State Community Bank, 2527 William St., reported two incidents of check kiting.
