The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Christina L. Duncan, 29, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated at 1925 Broadway.

Arrests

  • Shawn D. Hall, 28, of Anna, Illinois, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for speeding in a construction zone.
  • A 17-year-old boy was arrested at Independence and Benton streets on a Division of Youth Services warrant for absconding from custody.
  • Evan D. Johnson, 33, 507 S. Sprigg St., was arrested at 1010 Bloomfield St. on a Missouri Probation and Parole warrant for parole violation.
  • Michelle D. Carter, 38, of Steele, Missouri, was arrested at 1448 N. Kingshighway on a New Madrid County, Missouri, warrant for forgery.
  • Jimme L. Lindell Jr., 36, of Wyatt, Missouri, was arrested at Good Hope and Louisiana Streets on a Mississippi County, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear.
  • Jamie L. Ware, 30, no address given, was arrested at 40 South Sprigg on a Franklin County, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for shoplifting.
  • Kevion L. Tate, 18, 905 S. Sprigg St., was arrested at 716 N. Sprigg St. on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for dangerous drugs.
  • Tyler R. Ward, 31, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested at 920 N. Kingshighway on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for possession.
  • Maria I. Plunk, 34, of Portageville, Missouri, was arrested at 25 S. Kingshighway on two Bollinger County, Missouri, warrants for probation violation and traffic violation.
  • Macarthur Jones Jr., 21, 1000 S. Ellis St., was arrested at 401 Independence St. on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
  • Cara C. Kuntze, 31, of Advance, Missouri, was arrested at West Drive and William Street on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for traffic offense.
  • Jennifer D. Starkey, 40, of Jackson was arrested at 1701 Lacey St. on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for parole violation.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest at Bloomfield and South Pacific streets.
  • A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of being beyond parental control.
  • A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of being a runaway.

Summonses

  • Ophelia Mbamely, 52, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Dollar General, 724 Broadway.
  • Dewayne L. Crawford, 17, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for resisting arrest at North Park Avenue and Broadway.

  • Domestic assault was reported.

Burglaries

  • Burglary and property damage were reported at Smoke Shack, 1410 N. Kingshighway.
  • Burglary was reported at Danielle's, 1330 N. Kingshighway.
  • Burglary and theft were reported at Domino's Pizza, 1420 N. Kingshighway.
  • Burglary was reported at Hombre Hair Care, 1422 N. Kingshighway.

Thefts

  • A red toolbox was reported stolen at 407 E. Cape Rock Drive.
  • Clothing items and tools were reported stolen at 3439 William St.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported at Shelter Insurance, 1418 N. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

  • A 50-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at Bloomfield and Pacific streets.
