CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Mark E. Brazel, 45, 1101 Good Hope St., was arrested at Fountain and North streets on two Cape Girardeau warrants for expired license plates and no insurance.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault, assault on a law-enforcement officer, resisting arrest, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Summonses

• Cara Royer, 28, of McGee, Missouri, was issued a summons for stealing clothing at Victoria's Secret, 3049 William St.

Assaults

• Sexual assault was reported.
• Domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

• Burglary and property damage were reported at 539 Woodbine St.

Thefts

• An iPhone was reported stolen at 301 N. Lorimier St.
• License plates were reported stolen at 2568 Lisa Drive.
• Clothing, a backpack, a wallet and its contents were reported stolen at 547 Olive St.
• A pocket knife was reported stolen at Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.
• Change, tools and a tote were reported stolen at 385 Siemers Drive.

Miscellaneous

• A 54-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• A 54-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
