The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Marcus D. Fields, 26, 605 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Perryville, Mo., warrant for failure to appear.

* Charles L. Shipman, 42, 122 Harmony St., Apt. 1A, was arrested on a St. Clair County, Ill., warrant for child neglect.

* Scottie R. Moyers, 41, 410 N. Mount Auburn Road, Apt. B, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* Brock T. Reid, 23, of Scott City was arrested on two Scott County, Mo., warrants for failure to appear for stealing and felony resisting arrests and a Jefferson County, Mo., warrant for no operator's license.

* Shamara N. Lilly, 22, of Mounds, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of prohibited acts of noise.

Summonses

* Samuel L. Walker, no age given, 735 Watkins Drive, was issued a summons for improper backing and no insurance.

* Stacy L. Schlotzhauer, no age given, of New Franklin, Mo., was issued a summons for following too close.

Assaults

* Assault and armed criminal action were reported at 1701 Lacey St.

Burglaries

* Burglary and theft of televisions, a laptop computer and hard drive were reported at 1453 Themis St.

* Burglary and theft of jewelry were reported at 555 N. Spring St.

* Burglary and theft of a television were reported at 1105 S. Benton St.

Thefts

* Theft of a rifle was reported at 1010 Themis St.

* Theft of a cellphone was reported at 760 S. Kingshighway, Ste. F.

Miscellaneous

* Possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia was reported.

* Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at 801 Good Hope St.

* A 50-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 33 year-old man was taken into protective custody.
