The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Stanley Leonard Johnson, 27, of Tamms, Illinois, was arrested on a Cape County warrant for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance.

* Trevor Dale Ethridge, 30, homeless, was arrested on a Sikeston, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear for driving while revoked.

* Amanda Lynn Gaulding, 24, 1025 Good Hope St., was arrested on a probation violation warrant for stealing.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of forgery, counterfeiting, possession of a forging instrument and trafficking in stolen identities.

Summonses

* Jacob D. Bishop, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for following too closely.

* Shanille D. Maborn, no age given, of McClure, Illinois, was issued a summons for following too closely.

Thefts

* A hoodie, backpack and smoker were reported stolen at Wal-Mart, 3439 William.

* A Weedeater was reported stolen at 711 S. Pacific St.

* Stealing was reported.

Robbery

* Robbery was reported.

* A television, DVD, gaming console and cigarettes were reported stolen at 524 N. Fountain St.

Assaults

* Assault was reported.

* Assault, property damage and armed criminal action was reported.

* Property damage was reported at 107 Independence St.

* A broken window was reported at 1611 Independence St.

* A vehicle window was reported broken at 408 Keller Ave.

Miscellaneous

* A 26-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
