CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

* Ashley N. McGuirk, 34, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for probation violation and a Dunklin County, Mo., warrant for probation violation.

Summonses

* Montana M. Clifton, 17, of Advance, Mo., was issued a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* James A. Scherer, 17, of Brownwood, Mo., was issued a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Erik B. Richardson, 16, of Advance, Mo., was issued a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Assaults

* Assault and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.

* Domestic assault was reported.

* Domestic assault and property damage were reported.

Thefts

* Theft was reported at 20 N. Water St.

* Theft of clothing was reported at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported at Discovery Playhouse, 502 Broadway.

Miscellaneous

* Identity theft was reported.

* A 40-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Jeffrey L. Kaszubski, 50, 50 Centennial Drive, was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.
