The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Lisa M.R.L. Smith, 29, 2039 Perryville Road, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Kyle R.A. Davis, 29, 2315 Boutin Drive, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Demarcus P. Turner, 22, 1929 Delwin St., was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, driving while revoked, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and careless and imprudent driving.
  • James Otis Baker, 30, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to pay fine for suspended operator's license and on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to pay fine for driving while suspended and prohibited acts.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of attempting to deliver a controlled substance/attempt to deliver a controlled substance to a correctional facility.

Summonses

  • Montez Maurice Baker, 37, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for trespassing.
  • Andrail W. Henry, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for no insurance and striking a legally stopped vehicle.
  • Susan M. Fields, no age give, of Millersville was issued a summons for failure to yield and driving while suspended.
  • Charles A. White II, 28, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.
  • Hechun Xu, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to yield.

  • Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • Stealing, property damage and trespassing were reported.
  • The Cape Girardeau School District reported the theft of a laptop computer.
  • Money was reported stolen at 930 Rodney Vista Drive.
  • The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department reported a sign stolen at Capaha Park.
  • Money and Green Dot cards were reported stolen.
  • A violin and backpack were reported stolen at 1301 N. Main St.

Burglary

  • Burglary and the theft of ball caps and prescription medicine were reported at 3011 Themis St.

Assault

  • Assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.

Miscellaneous

  • KFC, 2101 William St., reported a counterfeit $20 bill.
  • Making a false report was reported at North Main Street and Broadway.
