CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department received the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Kevin R. Craft, 24, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

* Terry D. Batten, 45, 2568 Lisa Drive, No. 5, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and no license plates.

Arrests

* Lancelot W. McGuire, 21, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and methamphetamine, a St. Louis warrant for probation violation for dangerous drugs and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Charley L. McCaig, 24, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing and forgery.

* Phillip J. Swift, 28, 168 N. Lake Drive, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and stealing.

Summonses

* Dru F. Armitage, no age given, of Chaffee, Mo., was issued a summons for following too close.

* Kimyatta D. Ayers, no age given, 1829 Meyers Drive, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

Burglary

* Burglary and theft of a heater, Shop-vac and hedge trimmer were reported at 1831 Oak Hills Drive.

Theft

* A hoodie, shoes and GPS unit were reported stolen at 3 Village Drive.

Miscellaneous

* Interference with custody was reported.

* A 30-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 34-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
