CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Dymeisha S. Moore, 20, 129 S. Louisiana Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation and peace disturbance.
• Michelle Y. Jones, 35, 419 S. Frederick St., was arrested on a Pemiscot County warrant for probation violation.
• Steven R. Quinn, 41, of Scott City was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for improper registration, driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a vehicle crash and failure to appear for probation revocation.
• Elsi C. Sanchez, 28, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting.

Summons

• Joseph C. Wessel, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle.

Thefts

• Stealing and forgery were reported at 325 N. Sprigg St.
• A wallet was reported stolen at 1 S. Kingshighway.
• A PlayStation was reported stolen from a vehicle at 1111 Linden St.
• Shoplifting was reported at Rhodes 101 Stop, 1126 N. Sprigg St.
• A handgun was reported stolen at 214 Koch Ave.

Assault

• Assault was reported on Kiwanis Drive.

Property damage

• Vehicles were reported damaged at Rock Auto Brokers, 822 Enterprise St.

Miscellaneous

• Assisting other agency was reported.
• Fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance was reported at 2001 Independence St.
• A request for service was reported.
• Passing a lawfully stopped school bus was reported.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.
• A 46-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
