CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Lancelot W. McGuire, 21, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

* John J. Hunze, 38, 1815 N. Kingshighway, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

* Malcolm J. Long, 26, 1129 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cole County, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for probation violation and a New Madrid County, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for child neglect.

* Bradley L. Tanner, 42, of New Madrid, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of stealing at 535 Siemers Drive.

Summons

* Zaelin A. Swann, no age given, 2 N. Benton St., was issued summonses for striking a parked vehicle and failure to notify police immediately after motor vehicle damage.

Assault

* Assault was reported.

Burglary

* Burglary, a damaged door and theft of a television, laptop computer, change, clothing and phone charger were reported at 521 Louis St.

Thefts

* Medication was reported stolen at 374 Siemers Drive.

* A rear license plate was reported stolen at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road.

* Medication was reported stolen at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A purse was reported stolen at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A purse was reported stolen at 1900 Independence St.

Miscellaneous

* Harassment was reported.
