The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Driving while intoxicated was reported.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing copper wire from Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.
• Travis D. Blackmon, 35, of Oran, Missouri, was arrested on a Bollinger County, Missouri, warrant.
• Jeffery Gerding, 18, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia on Independence Street.
• Eugene Dodds, 25, no address given, was arrested on a warrant and on suspicion of assault on a law-enforcement officer, resisting arrest, driving while revoked and a motor-vehicle accident on North Cape Rock Drive.
• A suspect was in custody pending charges of theft and possession of a controlled substance at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.
• A suspect was in custody pending charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, driving while suspended and speeding at Kingshighway and Independence Street.
• Chase Hart, 18, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of peace disturbance, minor in possession and first-degree trespassing on Dunklin Street.
• Dilan Morton, 19, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of peace disturbance, minor in possession and first-degree trespassing on Dunklin Street.
• Timothy Schwarzbach, 18, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of peace disturbance, minor in possession and first-degree trespassing on Dunklin Street.
• Emmet Shinn, 55, no address given, was arrested on a warrant at 2011 N. Kingshighway.

Summons

• Tyeqeia T. Haynes, 28, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for stealing clothing, jewelry and headphones from Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
