The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Debra M. Logan, 29, of St. Louis was arrested on five Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing at The Buckle, 3049 William St.

* Malinda L. Cross, 24, of Olmstead, Ill., was arrested on a Union County, Ill., warrant.

* David K. Pierce, 47, 121 East Rodney Drive, Apt. G2, was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation, violation of an order of protection and misuse of 911.

* Tomeika L. Patterson, 17, 1721 Cape Meadows Circle, No. 12, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Summonses

* Kalen A. Knudson, 31, of Walker, La., was issued a summons for stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Angela M. Frank, 30, of Walker, La., was issued a summons for stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Kathy L. Hannah, 1927 N. Kingshighway, No. 44, was issued a summons for driving with a suspended license and failure to yield.

* Denzel T. Smith, 406 Sheridan Drive, was issued summonses for driving while revoked and receiving stolen property.

* Whitley M. Bratcher, 24, of Sikeston, Mo., was issued a summons for receiving stolen property.

* Jasmine N. Macklin, no age given, 51 Hazel St., was issued a summons for failure to yield.

* Philip L. Franklin, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to yield.

Assault

* Assault was reported at North Main and Independence streets.

Burglaries

* Burglary and theft were reported at 1114 Bloomfield St.

* Burglary and theft of a leaf blower were reported at 409 S. Louisiana Ave.

Thefts

* Theft was reported at 524 Louis St.

* Theft of a wallet was reported at 385 Siemers Drive.

* Theft and possession of marijuana were reported at Double Up, 432 Morgan Oak St.

* Theft was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* Theft of a white 2002 Pontiac Silhouette was reported at 1238 Meadowbrook Lane.

Property damage

* Property damage and theft were reported at 1819 Niemann Drive.

* Property damage was reported at 385 Siemers Drive.

Miscellaneous

* An animal bite was reported at 416 West End Blvd.

* A 43-year-old man was taken into protective custody,

* Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported at 210 N. Sprigg St.

* A 46-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The Cape Girardeau Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Robert D.L. Maglone, 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for no seat belt.

* Jeffery D. Murry, 28, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while suspended.

* Mark J. Childers, 31, of Burfordville was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.

* Peter E. Weaver II, 18, of Altenburg, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and a Perry County warrant for carrying a concealed weapon.
